That Feel Good Feeling of Celebration
Thought that this would be a good photo, befitting the mood of celebration we are currently in. The Lunar New Year just started this week in Singapore, and we are all busy feasting with wide smiles on our faces. Let’s just say that how we feel inside is not unlike how these lovely people feel at a close friend’s wedding.
Happy Hump Day to you all!!!

Enjoy Cupcakes With Love
I am of the firm belief that amazingness has got to be shared (because sharing is caring), and aren’t you lucky because this post has dual amazingness.
If you ever have a languid afternoon to spare, Cupcakes with Love comes highly recommended. Although their cupcakes are the type that might, at first glance, be lacking in the cream toppings department as we are all so used to nowadays, their cakes are so soft and moist that you’d immediately forgive them for it.
My friend Joy is currently using the premises of the cafe for her inaugural solo exhibition titled “Enroute to Joy: Enjoy”.
Her inspiration basically stems from the idea of celebrating the simple things we enjoy and her first installation is so apt because the subject is all sorts of desserts. We are talking about a colour-pencilled, watercolour splendour of soft-serves, jellies, sundaes, strawberry shortcakes, waffles, fruit tarts… are you salivating now? She also managed to recreate some of her simple drawings into deliciously tempting tote bags.
The exhibition is still running at Cupcakes with Love till 15Feb (check out the facebook event page), so do make a trip down and enjoy an afternoon. I recommend the Red Velvet and Adult Chocolate cupcakes. And be sure to like their page!!!

Lin & Marc :: An Epic Bubbly Fun Engagement Session
Lin and Marc have personalities that complement each other so well, and they tell me it is a chemistry that is exacerbated by their love for rabbits. They love them so much that they wanted to incorporate them in the shoot but were unable to find the multitude of bunnies that was needed to fulfil the fantasy. However, we were adamant on being uncompromising on the level of fun so I broke out the glue bubbles! I knew there was going to be a use for them when I bought a box full of those tubes in Melaka. Our favourite shot is the one where the bubble Lin was in the midst of blowing came out in a shape of a heart (I have to admit I did minute nudging to make the shape more pronounced). We also tried out the glo-jar idea I came across from Pinterest for the evening part of the shoot.
They also had a catch-phrase all through their wedding-planning. They kept on saying, “It will be EPIC!”
And yes, it was.
